Online Benefits Calculator

The online benefits calculator estimates your retirement pension and lump sum.
Your benefits are based on your final pay and your membership and when you retire, you will get a portion of your final pay in pension benefits.
The longer you've been a member, the bigger the portion.

The standard package of benefits is:
 One off lump sum
 Annual pension  
The maximum lump sum package is:
 Maximum lump sum
 Reduced pension

You can take the standard package, the maximum lump sum package,
or anything in between.

This uses an 'exchange rate' of 1:12 for swapping pension for lump sum.
In other words every £1 of pension you give up gets you £12 of lump sum.

This ignores any AVCs you may have.
