Supplementary Guidance for Independent Registered Medical Practitioners qualified in occupational health medicine (IRMPs)

The Supplementary Guidance issued by CLG (the Department for Communities and Local Government) makes reference to the IRMP (Independent Registered Medical Practitioner) completing sections of the standard Ill Health Certificate issued by CLG. Avon Pension Fund has therefore slightly amended the references in CLG’s ‘Supplementary Guidance for IRMPs’ so that they correspond to the appropriate sections of Ill Health Certificate LGPS17A which is to be used by the Scheme Employers of Avon Pension Fund when referring Active Members to their IRMP.
