Will investment performance affect my pension?

Your pension is guaranteed in statute by the government which means that the performance of the Fund’s investments will not affect the pension you receive.

The Fund’s investment strategy aims to generate returns to meet all future liabilities. Currently, income from active members exceeds the money required to pay current pensions.

See the next section below for the Fund’s latest investment performance figures.
