Pensioner Members of the LGPS can express a wish for any residual cash lump sum death benefits which may be payable to be paid to the persons or organisations of their choice by completing an Expression of Wish Form.

Pensioner Members who were paying into the LGPS on, or after, 1 April 2008 may nominate a cohabiting partner to receive a Survivor’s Pension in the event of their death by competing a ’Nomination of a Cohabiting Partner for Survivor’s Pension Form’. Notes on the back of the form explain who you are able to nominate.
