The Avon Pension Fund will again be working with Affinity Connect in 2021, to offer Pre-Retirement Online Courses. The courses are designed to help scheme members plan for a positive retirement.

Affinity Online Pre-Retirement Course
Keeping your retirement plans on track can be a challenging task and it is now more important than ever to make sure you are in control of your retirement plans.
To guide you through the options available, Affinity Connect will be running a dedicated 2-hour Pre-Retirement Online Course.
This is for those of you who are:
- Thinking about retiring or taking your pension benefits within the next three years
- Wanting to understand some of the key financial considerations about retirement
The Presentation will address some of the key questions and considerations when approaching retirement and will cover essential topics such as:
- Income needs in retirement
- The state pension
- Workplace pension savings
- Other savings and investments
- Tax allowances
- Next steps and further guidance

Booking confirmation emails which contain the course joining link, are sent automatically by their system and typically these should be received within a few minutes of registering. If the confirmation email has not been received within 24hrs, please contact the Affinity Connect Bookings Team on their helpline number 0800 019 6076.
This number can also be used if you have any issues joining a course for whatever reason, and Affinity Connect will do their best to assist.
