Changing your bank details online

The quick and easy way to tell us about a change to your UK bank details is using my pension online

You will receive an immediate confirmation that your changes have been submitted.

Once your bank details changes have been submitted, they will be verified and could take up to 7 days to take effect. 

If you can't access my pension online, you can let us know about a change of bank details by:

  • completing a Change of bank details form (PDF, 644.23KB) and return to us at: Avon Pension Fund, Bath & North East Somerset Council, Lewis House, Manvers Street, Bath, BA1 1JG
  • returning the change of bank details option form on the reverse of your payslip 

If your bank account is overseas

If you want to have your pension paid into an overseas bank account, the process is different. To apply you will need to download, complete and sign an International payment mandate form for the country you wish to have your pension paid. Please note we require a hand-written signature on the form.

You need to tell us about these changes using our online services or in writing. We cannot accept changes over the telephone.
