This is referred to as a pension pool. Nothing changes for your LGPS pension, which remains secure and protected by government.
Image Publication of member survey results on Aerospace and Defence investments 9 October 2025 We’ve published results from a recent member survey which sought views on whether the Fund should continue or cease investing in Aerospace & Defence companies. The survey was conducted online with members between 4 - 22 September 2025.
Pension investment announcement: no change to member contributions or benefits 18 November 2024 On 14 November 2024 the government announced proposed changes to how your local government pension scheme (LGPS ) invests. Your contributions into the pension scheme and your benefits are set by law. There is no proposal to change these as part of this review.
